Keep calm... Yoga on!

Well in my last blog, I wrote about having a flexible mind, and that was put to test this morning. I had booked a squash court to teach my classes, and had to wrap up my first class earlier than plan as I was unexpectedly being kicked out in the middle of my lesson for not playing squash (I love Hong Kong and the very rigid rules)! Despite all the drama, I tried to remain calm and still give it my heart to teach. I guess with yogis, we practice to tune out from the outside world and focus our inner sensations... It wasn't easy to teach with a frustrated mind, but this is a big part of our mental practice. To let go.



All in all, it worked out... My second class was held at this quaint outdoor spot in the Hong Kong Park next to the avery (thanks my dearest friend Joy!) which turned out very pleasant listening to the sound of the birds' singing and practicing under the warm winter weather. I'm extremely grateful for my students who joined today and for your patience with last minute change! Next week's venue will be updated (details to follow). 


Remember, nothing in life is permanent, so learn to let go :) Until next time... Namaste xx
